Position Overview

We are looking to hire dedicated, full-time maintenance crew members to participate in the maintenance of hardscapes and softscapes. The Maintenance Crew Member is responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds. The duties of this position can include performing tasks involving physical labor such as planting flowers and trees, maintaining grounds, and overseeing installations.

Essential Job Functions

• Follow written and verbal instructions from crew leader and clients.
• Maintain gardens and lawns, including mowing, trimming, pruning, raking, and weeding.
• Water plants and lawns, and add fertilizers as needed.
• Perform maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Load and unload equipment and trucks to and from worksites.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure that proper incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean job site, picking up all tools and equipment and securing the job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
• Support projects as assigned.
• Attend meetings and functions.
• Model all Company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable communication with crew members and customers in English.
• Ability to lift or to move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Basic knowledge of plants, tools, and equipment used, preferred.
