Job Description
Everstaff is seeking an Accountant to support the daily operations of our client’s Accounting and Finance department. This position is part-time and reports to the Assistant Controller.
Pay: $35.00-$37.00/hr
Shift: M-F; first shift

Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents
- Analyze financial reports
- Maintain account balances and bank statements
- Assist with audits and taxes
- Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and stockholders
- Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist the accounting manager in preparing documents and interpreting complicated financial information
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience and expertise in accounting practices.
- Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and financial statements
- High degree of initiative and independent judgment.
- Strong communication skills, oral and written.
