Job Description

We have a client in Cleveland, OH seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join there finance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making as we continue to scale.

Direct Hire

Salary : $160k - $180k plus a 15% bonus potential

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, providing insight into business performance.
• Monitor cash flow, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and accounting best practices.
