Litigation Paralegal – Insurance Defense - Tampa or Orlando, Florida
A well-respected law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with 3 to 5 years of construction defect or bodily injury defense experience to join their team. Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of insurance defense experience (construction defect or bodily injury preferred).
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
- Knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal & Local Rules of the Middle District.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a team-driven environment.
- Experience with billing and time entry in compliance with client guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients, judicial assistants, attorneys, staff, and experts.
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, trial exhibits, and presentation materials for hearings and mediations.
- Review and analyze medical, employment, billing, and insurance claim records.
- Provide litigation support to multiple attorneys.
