Key Responsibilities:
- Foster strong communication channels with territory managers, regional sales leaders, and general management.
- Engage in product training sessions, regional sales conferences, and operational meetings as needed.
- Oversee commercial responsibilities for select high-impact customers.
- Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing the forecasting process and integrating new technologies.
- Contribute to the establishment of annual sales projections and corresponding budgets.
- Collaborate with management to streamline raw material sourcing, pricing strategies, price adjustments, and inventory evaluations.
- Supervise inventory management, stock level forecasting, JIT (Just-In-Time) programs, layout routing, and consignment operations.
- Align pricing frameworks with current market trends and corporate objectives.
- Cultivate key account relationships, spearhead projects, and drive communication strategies for market expansion.
- Guide and train the Sales team on pricing methodologies and operational best practices.
- Support and coach A3 teams in lean methodologies, process enhancements, and efficiency improvements to align with company targets.
- Conduct cost evaluations on quotations, order processing, pre- and post-cost assessments, and make necessary adjustments to optimize gross margins and profitability.
- Leverage advanced technology tools such as Power BI to research, analyze, and identify business trends in sales, marketing, and profit opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to explore and pursue new business opportunities.
- Initiate and manage processes to evaluate customer complaints, addressing technical, quality, delivery, credit, or other service concerns.
- Work alongside the Sales team to establish, maintain, and enhance client relationships, supporting targeted strategic objectives.
- Organize and lead quarterly Management Review and Post-Cost Team meetings.
- Represent the company at trade shows, implementing effective follow-up strategies for leads and inquiries.
- Stay informed on market conditions, industry developments, consumer purchasing behaviors, and competitor activities to seize emerging sales and marketing opportunities.
- Conduct market research to assess new application opportunities, analyzing capital investment needs and potential expansion avenues.
- Identify and evaluate new applications within or beyond current capabilities through a structured commercial analysis process.
- Oversee the product development cycle for new product orders, acting as a liaison between manufacturing teams and clients.
- Analyze product applications, customer manufacturing processes, and industry trends to optimize business opportunities.
- Ensure consistent attendance and engagement in all required responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Material Sciences, or Business (preferred).
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- Strong expertise in competitive analysis and SWOT methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of the metals/foils industry, including capabilities and applications.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing projects from inception to execution.
- Ability to make informed, ethical business decisions and effectively influence stakeholders.
- Energetic and goal-oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Strong strategic and tactical business planning skills.
- Self-motivated with independent decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and marketing databases.
- Strong customer service acumen and technical aptitude.
- Comprehensive experience in product development lifecycle management.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
