Job Summary

This full-time position ensures the stability, security, and reliability of all servers, systems, and network infrastructure, as well as assists with the development and implementation of various IT projects, while aligning IT strategies with the goals of the organization.

Responsibilities include :

• Ensure that systems are properly configured, updated, and maintained
• Implements changes to systems, taking into consideration user needs, security, and complex system requirements, and ensuring these changes minimize system downtime
• Implements and monitors security measures, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems, to protect the organization's IT environment from cyber threats
• Implements and manages a data backup and recovery plan in the event of system failures or disasters
• Performs system tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware and software
• Manage the organization's Computer Systems and network servers, and upgrade company hardware and software to meet security and business standards
• Maintains accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Monitors system performance and responds to alerts and incidents in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborates with other IT team members to plan and implement various IT projects, including software installations, upgrades, and migrations
• Collaborates with technology vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues
• Participates in the development of IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the security of the data and systems
• Offers consultation and recommendations on potential enhancements, initiatives, and projects
• Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future technology and solution needs
• Aids in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Provides knowledgeable support and guidance to end-users on hardware, software, and network issues
• Applies security patches, updates, and software upgrades to ensure systems are protected against vulnerabilities
