In this exciting leadership role, you will guide a dedicated team of 4-5 recruiters and an HR assistant, driving high-performers in a metric-driven recruiting program that supports the full talent life cycle.

Everstand is not a federal or state agency. It is an independent not-for-profit organization that serves over 1,000 children annually across 12 locations. You would join about 800 teammates across DC, MD, PA, and WV that empower youth and their families to flourish within their community.
What does the benefits package look like?

What does this job do specifically?

- Lead and manage full life-cycle recruitment for intern, entry, management, and senior-level roles for Everstand.
- Maintain a clear and accurate applicant tracking system (BambooHR) by ensuring all recruiters, hiring managers, and HR teammates are correctly utilizing the system as instructed.
- Provide day-to-day oversight; manage performance including appraisals, coaching, and ongoing development; serve as a point of escalation for talent acquisition-related matters.
- Bring forward ways Everstand can improve its hiring process, candidate and interview experience, reduce hiring time and costs, and lower its overall time to hire.
- Integrate strategies to attract, onboard, develop, and retain talent.
- Collaborate with Sr., Director of Human Resources and department leaders in the development of strategic internship program initiatives.
- Leverage multiple sourcing strategies and channels including external networking, job boards, networking events, and internal referrals to provide high-quality candidates for open positions.
- Attend meetings designed to update the status of open positions.
Provide the leadership with up-to-date hiring and onboarding KPI’s.
What experience and education do I need?
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including 2 years in leadership or management roles.
- Proven success in leading a recruitment team and meeting hiring goals.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment metrics and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in employer branding and candidate engagement strategies.
- Strong understanding of Applicant Tracking System setup and management; experience with BambooHR is a plus.
- Knowledge of labor laws and best practices related to hiring.
- Certification in HR or talent acquisition (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS).
