Working closely with the Global Talent Acquisition Lead, the Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment of HQ staff and high-level field-based positions. This includes candidate sourcing and attracting top talent, consistent screening, selection, and hiring practices that are efficient and offer an excellent candidate experience from first contact through onboarding. Supports Global TA Lead to develop tools, processes, and metrics to track progress against recruitment and DEI goals. This position assists in initiatives to broaden Jhpiego’s outreach and ensure a diverse candidate pool. Additionally, Talent Acquisition Manager builds and maintains strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates and JHU HR and Compensation to support organizational mission, goals, and objectives to ensure the effective delivery of the talent acquisition infrastructure across the organization.
Responsibilities : Sourcing
- Market open positions via the company’s careers page and job boards such as LinkedIn, Devex. Humentum;
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts and candidates via proactive use of social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- Develop sourcing techniques and targeted job advertising to proactively identify, engage, and secure both active and passive talent. Leverage a diverse array of sourcing channels to identify the best-fit candidates.
Recruitment
Manage recruitment efforts for both US-based and global positions, including high-level field-based rolesScreen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, conducting phone screenings, and presenting hiring managers with recommendations for the most suitable candidatesConduct thorough intake sessions with hiring managers to gain deep insights into their staffing needs.Continuously refine job advertisements that resonate with prospective candidates. Develop outreach campaigns, source qualified candidates, and efficiently fulfill staffing requirements.Educate and train hiring managers and interview panel lists on the comprehensive interview process. This includes providing guidance in crafting interview questionnaires, conducting interviews, conducting in-depth candidate evaluations, and facilitating the selection of finalists.Collaborate closely with the Compensation team to develop competitive salary offers that ensure internal equity, and manage the offer, negotiation, and acceptance stages.Conduct thorough professional reference checks for finalistsPrioritize and ensure a positive candidate experience by fostering proactive communication, implementing a well-structured recruitment process, and offering comprehensive information to candidates about Jhpiego's culture and benefits.Screen candidates recommending best suited to hiring managersEnsure the timely and accurate preparation of all relevant recruiting documentationProvide functional oversight of applicant tracking systems and other tools to efficiently and effectively collect data, analyze and evaluate informationDevelop and deliver metrics and dashboards to quantify and assess recruiting activitiesMaximize the utilization of Global Talent Acquisition's recruiting resources and tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, iCIMS ATS, Devex, and more.Collaborate closely with the Global Talent Acquisition Lead to consistently analyze the recruitment process, pinpoint bottlenecks, explore new recruitment sources, and refine Jhpiego's overarching hiring strategiesAssist New Program Development Talent Acquisition Partners during procurements to quickly screen and identify candidates as neededAct as a brand ambassador for the organization by representing it at career fairs, industry conferences, and networking events.As a representative of the organization, establish and maintain professional contacts with other organizations and businesses concerning recruiting, employment, and related international policies and practicesCoordinate with the global talent acquisition team to ensure that hired candidates are processed through JHU’s systems, including JHU's Success Factors systemSupport the organization's Affirmative Action Plan and compliance requirementsWhen necessary, contract and work with executive headhunting recruitment firms and contract recruitersProvide input to the overall recruitment / advertising budgetDatabase Management
