Floral Designer/Assistant Wedding Coordinator

We are looking to add a Floral Designer/Assistant Wedding Coordinator to the team. This position is vitally important to our business, assisting in the coordination and management of our weddings and event business while designing exceptional floral pieces.

This position is only for experienced Floral Designers. Qualifications to Include:

-Minimum 2 years floral design experience

-Experience with weddings & events including arches, installations, and calculating recipes for such event work.

-Knowledgeable in recipe creation, understanding of mechanics needed for large and small scale installation work, and understanding of floral pricing guidelines.

-Ability to lead our wedding clients through a knowledgeable consultation and sales process to execute their vision.

-Ideally, experience in wholesale ordering, tracking COGS, and increasing profitability while creating beautiful work

-Wide range of artistic design experience including both traditional and modern styles in daily arrangements, weddings, corporate decor, and installations.

Job Description:

-Assistant Coordinator for Weddings and Events: Be a supplemental point of contact for Bridal inquiries and communication management throughout the Bridal and event process, working with our Store Manager to support the wedding and event process.

-Learn and execute our CRM & Software systems to manage the Bridal & Event processes

-Designing wedding arrangements, bridal bouquets, arches, installations, bouts and corsages, and other daily and event work.

-Assisting in the set up and break down of weddings and events.

Job Type: Full Time or Part Time: We are willing to accommodate either for the right candidate.

Pay: $18.00-22.00 per hour plus tips, depending upon experience.
