The Mobile Bookkeeper will provide essential on-site bookkeeping services, financial reporting, and account reconciliation to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
● Travel to client locations within Western Wayne and Oakland Counties to provide on-site bookkeeping support.
● Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
● Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts accurately and timely.
● Prepare and generate financial reports to support client decision-making.
● Assist with payroll processing using both self-service and provider-based systems.
● Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis for clients when needed.
● Identify discrepancies and work with clients to resolve issues.
● Stay up-to-date with bookkeeping best practices, GAAP, financial regulations, compliance knowledge and industry trends. Skills & Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
● Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), and knowledge of other accounting software a plus.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
● Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
● High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
● Experience providing bookkeeping services for small businesses across various industries.
● Familiarity with CRM systems and other financial management tools.
● Understanding of payroll processing and relevant compliance requirements.
