Job Title: Dedicated Moderate/Severe Education Specialist
Company: Every Special Child LLC
Location: Imperial Beach, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Credential Requirement: Valid California Moderate/Severe Education Specialist Credential
Caseload: Capped at 20 students (currently 15 students with enrollment closed)
Grade Level: K-12
What You’ll Do:
Deliver tailored instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and school teams.
Employ evidence-based strategies to support student success in academics, behavior, and social skills.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and goals.
Work closely with families, general education teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Valid California teaching credential in Moderate/Severe Special Education.
Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
A passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
