Paraprofessional – Social/Emotional/Behavioral Support

Job Description:
Every Special Child LLC is looking for dedicated Paraprofessionals to join our team in Medford, MA, supporting middle school students with social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with students with disabilities who are committed to fostering positive development and creating supportive educational environments.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group support to middle school students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Assist with behavior management strategies, social skills training, and emotional support under the guidance of the classroom teacher and support staff.
Implement individualized strategies and accommodations to help students engage in learning and meet their educational goals.
Support classroom activities, transitions, and routines to create a structured environment.
Collaborate with educators, counselors, and other team members to address each student’s unique needs.

Qualifications:

Experience working with students with disabilities, especially those with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in education or behavioral sciences is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
