Every Special Child Is seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Resource Specialist to join our team in Morgan Hill, CA. We have the following requirements:
- 1 Mild/Mod Special Education Resource Specialist (RSP)
- Age Group: Middle School
- Start date: ASAP
- End Date: June 6th, 2025
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for teaching groups of students.
- Meet each student’s learning requirements and build individual lesson plans to their specific needs.
- You will also discuss with parents and support staff to meet students’ progress.
- Adapt learning materials to students’ needs, ability to create IEPs
- Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
- Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
- Prepare students for the transition to the next grade
- Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities
- Collaborate with the support staff
- All other duties related to the program.
Requirements:
- Valid California Mild/Moderate or Learning Handicapped (LH) Education Specialist License.
- 1 years of working experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree with an emphasis in special education preferred.
