Every Special Child Is seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our team near Santa Clara, CA. We have requirements for Resource Specialists (RSP) and Special Day Class Teachers.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for teaching groups of students.
- Meet each student’s learning requirements and build individual lesson plans to their specific needs.
- You will also discuss with parents and support staff to meet students’ progress.
- Adapt learning materials to students’ needs, ability to create IEPs
- Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
- Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
- Prepare students for the transition to the next grade
- Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities
- Collaborate with the support staff
- All other duties related to the program.
Requirements:
- Valid California Mild/Moderate or Mod/Severe Education Specialist License
- 1 years of working experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree with an emphasis in special education (preferred).

Pay: $54.00 - $58.00 per hour
