Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher for a full-time position serving students in grades K-8. This role requires collaboration with school staff and families to meet the unique needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments.
Provide specialized instruction to students to enhance communication and academic skills.
Utilize assistive technologies and resources to support student learning.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide regular updates on student progress.
Caseload:
Details regarding the caseload will be discussed during the interview.
Qualifications:
Valid California teaching credential with authorization for Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Experience working with students in grades K-8 preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
