7am-3pm, Full Time

As an LPN at Lake Prince Woods, you will provide hands-on care to residents in a variety of care settings. The seniors and retirees you help will count on you for support and look to you as a familiar, reassuring presence in their lives. You will need to have a generous spirit and a servant’s heart, be able to prioritize needs, be responsive and proactive, and to have an appreciation for another person’s life experiences. You will find satisfaction in a job well done and in the knowledge that you have made a resident’s day better with each task completed and each smile offered.
Administer medication as directed in the Medication Administration policies and procedures except injections, medication given by g-tube, j-tube or nasogastric tubes and IV medications.
Minimal Education:
High School graduate or G.E.D.
Minimal Experience:
Minimum of three (3) months work experience in basic nursing procedures for nursing assistants preferred.
Other Qualifications:
Current LPN License through the state of VA or a compact multi state license
Minimum age of 18 years or older is required for this position due to Department of Labor regulations
