RN Care Coordinator, Full Time, Night Shift, Monday through Thursday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement Nursing Practices: Follow established nursing standards and facility policies and procedures.
- Resident Care: Identify resident needs through comprehensive assessments and deliver care according to physician’s orders and nursing standards.
- Documentation and Compliance: Document care as per regulatory requirements and ensure all state and federal regulations are met.
- Staff Management: Appraise staff performance, counsel accordingly, and assist in teaching unit staff in resident care, regulatory compliance, and in-service programs.
- Emergency Response and Safety: Respond to emergencies, maintain a safe environment, and actively participate in safety and loss prevention programs.
- Professional Development: Act as a role model and mentor, conduct educational presentations, and participate in committees, meetings, and educational programs.
Minimal Education:
1. Graduate of accredited school of nursing
2. Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
Minimal Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years Registered Nurse experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
Other Qualifications:
1. Current Nurse License
2. CPR certification
3. Strong communication, leadership skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
4. Demonstrated clinical competency and provision of expert care to patients with either predictable or unpredictable.
