Description : Everything Kitchens is a woman-owned and operated Springfield, Missouri based online kitchenware retailer that has been gathering people around the table since 2002. We have a passion for expertly delivering joy to kitchens and we do that by helping home chefs select the right products with ease and smoothly deliver all their cooking needs from our kitchen to theirs.

Position type / expected hours of work : Full-time (30 - 40 hours / week) with seasonal voluntary and mandatory overtime (as needed due to sales volume); shift times vary throughout the year (typically 6 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m. throughout most of the year).

About the Role : Warehouse associates are responsible for the daily processing and fulfilling of customer’s online orders. Your goal will be to process these customer orders accurately and quickly while maintaining the packing standards we've developed. Previous warehouse experience isn't necessary as this is an entry level role with an opportunity to grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities :

Picking single and multi-piece orders using scanner devices

Reviewing ready-to-ship orders for accuracy at computer stations

Wrapping and packing orders, using equipment such as box cutters and tape guns

Loading and unloading customer orders onto freight vehicles

Communicating and collaborating with supervisors and co-workers

Problem solving unique order and shipping issues

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Everything Kitchens retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position.

Requirements :

Qualifications & Physical Demands :

Comfortable and literate with computers (Windows 10) and mobile devices

Able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time during shift

Able to move throughout the building at least 50% of the time during shift

Able to move product weighing up to 50 pounds and team lift

Able to ascend / descend ladders

Able to bend, stoop, stretch, or crouch

Work Environment :

Partially climate controlled warehouse; varying temperatures depending on season

Environment does have a small amount of dust / fine particulates

Exposure to loud noises and flashing lights (i.e. forklift horn, turret truck light)

Compensation

This is a non-exempt role. The starting pay for this role is $15.00 / hour ($31,200 / year).
