Evolution Energy is seeking a dynamic and strategic Dealer Program Director to lead and scale our solar and roofing dealer program. This individual will oversee dealer recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and overall program growth. The ideal candidate is experienced in channel sales, dealer partnerships, and operational strategy within the solar, roofing, or home improvement industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Program Development
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow and scale the solar dealer program.
- Define program structure, commission models, and incentive plans.
- Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to expand the dealer network.
2. Dealer Recruitment & Onboarding
- Oversee dealer recruitment efforts, focusing on roofing companies and contractors.
- Create and implement a structured onboarding process, ensuring new dealers receive proper training and resources.
- Develop partnerships with industry associations and trade groups to attract top-tier dealers.
3. Dealer Performance & Relationship Management
- Establish key performance metrics and track dealer activity using CRM and reporting tools.
- Work closely with the Dealer Success Manager to provide ongoing training, coaching, and support for dealers.
- Implement performance-based incentives and address underperformance effectively.
4. Cross-Department Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to develop co-branded materials, lead generation strategies, and dealer enablement tools.
- Work with Finance to ensure accurate commission tracking, dealer payments, and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate with Operations to align dealer sales with installation capacity and timelines.
5. Leadership & Team Management
- Build and lead a high-performing dealer support team, including Recruitment Managers, Success Managers, and Regional Dealer Managers.
- Set clear goals, monitor team performance, and foster a culture of accountability.
- Provide executive-level reporting on dealer program progress and challenges.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in channel sales, dealer management, or business development in solar, roofing, HVAC, or home improvement industries.
- Proven track record in building and scaling a dealer or partnership program.
- Strong understanding of commission structures, financing options, and sales enablement tools.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven performance tracking.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Salary : $150,000 - $500,000
