Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Mobile home community. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of property management, and the ability to foster positive relationships with residents and vendors. This role requires a hands-on approach to property maintenance, conflict management, and adherence to Fair Housing regulations, ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained living environment for all residents.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring high standards of property maintenance and resident satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs with contractors.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and administrative tasks related to resident accounts, contracts, and service requests.
- Address resident concerns and conflicts effectively, employing strong negotiation skills to resolve issues amicably.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies in all interactions with residents.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Organize community events and activities to promote resident engagement and foster a sense of community.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent conflict management abilities with a focus on negotiation and resolution.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with CMMS or similar software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with residents, vendors, and team members.
