Job Overview:
We are seeking an Investigator to support transit safety audits, compliance reviews, and on-site inspections. This position involves assessing safety policies, reviewing incident reports, and working with government agencies to enforce safety directives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct transit safety audits and regulatory compliance reviews.
Assist in safety investigations, accident analysis, and risk assessments.
Support FTA and state safety oversight agencies in document reviews, inspections, and safety verifications.
Identify gaps in transit safety practices and recommend corrective actions.
Provide technical oversight and reporting on safety deficiencies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Engineering, Business, or related field.
10 years of experience in transit safety, risk management, or investigations.
3 years of experience specifically in rail/bus safety and compliance.
Familiarity with FTA, SSO program requirements, and transit safety protocols.
Preferred Certifications:
TSI Transit Safety & Security Audit Certification (preferred).
