Evolvd Group Corp located in Kidron, OH is seeking an IT Specialist (Tier 3) to join our successful growing team.
Job description: Primary Job Function for Information Technology Specialist
This individual will be tasked with handling support service requests for hardware and software on a number of computer systems as well as assist the Help Desk in a timely manner. They will be involved in and/or assisting with various computer, security, and other projects.
Job Responsibilities:
o Serving as an escalation point for support issues that are escalated from our Tier I and Tier II engineers.
o Serving as an integral member of the Project Delivery teams by providing hands on technical support for complex projects, focusing on production and implementation.
o Implementing new systems and network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current implementations
o Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, switches and firewalls.
o Network monitoring
o Troubleshoot and/or occasionally repair hardware including but not limited to: PCs, handheld scanners, label printers, switches, access points, security cameras, security doors, and IP phones.
o Troubleshoot basic Windows issues
o Assist in the installation of cables from data closets to new endpoints
o Set up PCs for new users
o Support Windows Server 2012-2022, including issues with Active directory, domain operations etc.
o Provide support to on-site and remote users.
o Assist users with various technology related tasks
o Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress and completion
o Work with Service Manager to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource in order to be resolved quickly and efficiently.
o Responsible for entering and reviewing information in Connectwise on a daily basis
o Provide infrastructure support in all areas needed including storage networking, server/desktop OS, Cloud environments, network security, active directory, virtualization, system and network monitoring, and application installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
o Mentor/Coach to junior support engineers

· Have completed a 2 or 4-year degree in any Information Technology field (Prefer a networking related degree) or equivalent work experience
· Strong computer networking skills
· Expert with Active Directory
· Expert with any virtual server platform
· Able to follow instructions given verbally and in writing
· Strong understanding of Windows desktop operating systems
· Exposure to Windows Server operating systems
· Knowledge of PC hardware components
· Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and administration
· Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
· Solid critical thinking, problem solving and troubleshooting skill-set
· Capacity to maintain a positive, professional and friendly attitude
· Capability to work independently or with little supervision
· Strong time management skills
· Knowledge on low voltage systems and wiring procedures is a plus
· Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Ability to lift up to 75lbs
Ability to commute in Stark County/Holmes County/Orville County
