The Front Desk/Clinic Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic's front desk, ensuring a smooth flow of patient check-ins, appointments, and communications. This role combines administrative responsibilities with leadership duties, requiring a proactive individual who can manage staff and enhance patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and handling phone inquiries.
- Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring they adhere to clinic protocols and provide excellent customer service.
- Oversee the scheduling of appointments, ensuring efficient use of staff and resources to minimize wait times for patients.
- Monitor clinic workflow and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Handle patient feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and communication.
- Manage billing processes and patient inquiries related to billing.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and performance evaluations of front desk staff.
- Prepare reports on clinic performance, patient satisfaction, and staff productivity.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work culture within the clinic.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
