Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Clinical Dietitian to join our team for a 13-week contract here in Victorville, California ideal for professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive clinical care in a dynamic and culturally rich setting.
Our Sherman Oaks location is needing per diem covered as well if only interested in per diem work. 12/hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring patients' current health conditions
- Advising nutritional and dietary supplements to maintain their healthy lifestyle
- Speeding up their recovery process
- Assisting patients in adopting long-lasting lifestyle changes
- Teaching them about dietary recommendations and healthy eating practices
- Recommending medical professionals, certain diets for patients with certain diseases or problems
- Creating nutritional assessments based on health metrics and existing habits
- Working independently and with other healthcare professionals to create individualized nutrition plans
- Patient education
Requirements:
- Active CA RD License
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent RD experience.
- Current certifications in BLS (required).
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Adaptability to work flexible shifts as per facility requirements.
