Evolve Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation, a highly-regarded sports medicine/orthopedic clinic with locations on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Syosset, NY, is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Front Desk/ Patient Relations Coordinator at our Upper East Side location. This position is ideally suited for someone with a background in customer service and sales, who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and driving patient referrals to our out-of-network practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement and Sales:
- Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere by greeting patients and ensuring their needs are met.
- Utilize your exceptional customer service skills to provide support and answer patient inquiries.
- Apply your previous sales experience to promote additional services or products that may benefit patients, with a focus on driving patient referrals to our out-of-network practice.
Administrative Tasks:
- Efficiently manage patient scheduling to optimize clinic workflow and minimize wait times.
- Conduct check-in and check-out procedures with attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Utilize your previous experience with insurance procedures to verify coverage, obtain authorizations, and handle financial transactions.
- Maintain and update patient records in our electronic system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Communication and Teamwork:
- Demonstrate excellent telephone skills when addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
- Participate in out-of-network insurance consultations, providing valuable information and assistance to potential patients.
Additional Requirements:
- Utilize your sales skills to educate patients about the benefits of receiving treatment at an out-of-network practice.
- Availability to work weekends is necessary to accommodate our patients' needs.
Qualifications:
- Your previous experience in customer service and sales will enable you to excel in this role, especially when promoting our out-of-network practice.
- Adept at multitasking and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong telephone skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Physical Therapy & or Sports Medicine experience preferred but not required.
