Role Description
The Front Desk Patient Coordinator plays a pivotal role in welcoming and caring for our patients and ensuring their experience at Thrive is the best it can be. As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll ensure a positive experience from appointment scheduling to checkout. Patient coordinators are responsible for managing patient inquiries,
coordinating appointments, collecting payment and facilitating smooth communication between patients and clinical staff. Candidates who are interested in this position must have 2 years of medical office experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical/Healthcare Receptionist or similar field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; candidates with additional education or certification in healthcare administration are preferred.
- You are known as a strong team player with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and phone etiquette.
- You understand the power of good patient experience and are committed to making each patient's visit a pleasant one.
- You get technology - strong proficiency in using scheduling systems, EMR’s, payment processing, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- You can be a Swiss Army Knife when needed: your attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving skills and ability to multitask effectively are critical in our busy office.
- You have aspirations for a career in Healthcare and are looking for opportunities to learn.
Full time employees are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation Federal Holidays after 2 months of employment. Full time employees are also eligible for health insurance benefits. After one year, full-time employees are eligible for profit-sharing and a 401K match.
Salary : $52,500 - $56,000
