Spa Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Answer phone calls promptly and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
• Manage the scheduling of appointments and maintain an organized calendar.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and basic math calculations.
• Assist with upselling products or services when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
• Provide support to other staff members as needed, including supervising junior staff or interns.
• Utilize POS systems effectively for processing transactions and managing inventory.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a grocery store or retail environment.
• Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operations.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong supervisory skills when necessary.
• Proficient in using office equipment and software relevant to reception duties.

Pay: $16.96 - $17.29 per hour
