The main purpose of the Project Manager role is coordinating discussions and budgets with clients, graphic designers, development teams, and management. Managing the life cycle of projects and ensuring organizational effectiveness is being delivered. This is a key position with Evolve Systems and an opportunity to be a decision maker and leader within a fast growing organization.
Key Accountabilities
Indicators of Effectiveness
Day-to-day communications with clients in the project phase.
Follow a standardized and consistent communication process and document results.
Project communication with all team members during each step of Evolve System’s 5 Step Process.
Proven ability to work with business owners to identify requirements, discuss technology options and document resulting decisions. Ability to effectively take notes during discovery meetings with clients, develop project charter documents and interact with clients styles of communications and developers needs to understand the intent of the project.
Team leadership of Product Managers, Developers and Customer Service/Help Desk personnel
Ability to lead a project team consisting of internal and external technical resources, both local and Evolve Sourced. Ability to plan, prioritize and manage tasks and resources across multiple projects.
Project profitability management
Ability to created details project plans and manages timeline, scope and budget. Projects being delivered on budget and on time with no errors. Ability to deliver a quality solution by maintaining project and technical documentation, including the creation and execution of test plans. Documentations of client communications, requests, and development teams deliverables
Process improvement
Ability to review and evaluate the solution as it is developing and ensures that it meets identified business requirements. Thinking outside the box for creative problem solving in delivering clients projects. Understanding of testing, no QA department so ability to do functional manual testing would be preferred
Manage use, trends and efficiency of platforms and technology tools.
Familiarity of HTML, CSS, PHP, specifically WordPress, Drupal, Concrete5, Big Commerce, Open Cart and ability to install modules, make content and photo updates, basic understanding of Google Analytics. Familiar with Basecamp, our project management system. Manage projects using SCRUM methodology.
Manage use, domain name management
Be able to assist clients with launching websites, transferring domain names, hosting locations and launching websites.
Be familiar with Hosting platforms
Have an understanding of hosting environments and servers

All work will be performed according to company policies and standards inherent in all position contracts, system action plans, employee manuals, ongoing policy memoranda, and facilities and dress codes.
Flexibility to meet the needs of the customer’s situation is fundamental for success in our business operations. Having a business mindset, one that can relate to the business owner and talk at their level to achieve their goals.
Client and company information will be held as strictly confidential outside the company.
Ability to wear multiple hats and multi-task different deliverables and manage expectations. Experience in a small company, client orientated environments.
All telephone calls, both internal and external, will be returned within one business day and within two hours whenever possible.
From time-to-time expect non-standard work hours and external customer meetings.
Manager will be notified of any issues to be resolved or deadlines that cannot be met by reporting position, prior to the due date, in an exception report.
Attention to detail is crucial.
Employees will provide staff assistance as requested; each employee may be asked from time to time to cover other areas of accountability and/or departments.

- Use EOS Traction methodology to set and achieve personal and team goals. Report on Scorecard items weekly.
- Complete life cycle of application and CMS development, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and implementation.
- Continue to improve on process management and client communications through expectation management with the various internal and external teams. You goal is to delight our clients and help them reach their goals.
