Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, trial preparation, and document management.
- Handle e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Manage scheduling of hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
- Draft and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring timely updates and accessibility.
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel as needed.
- Support attorneys with new business intake, client billing, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all firm-related matters.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of legal assistant experience (litigation preferred, but open to strong candidates eager to learn).
- Proficiency in e-filing, scheduling, and document management.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with law firm software is a plus.
