What you’ll do
- Work as part of an Agile team to deliver high-quality products and solutions
- Analyze the Business Domain to develop and maintain subject matter expertise
- Support the Product Manager by researching business processes, assessing project level of effort, resource planning, and risk management
- Collect, analyze, and visualize metrics to help make data-based decisions
- Leverage domain knowledge to provide business examples and context when the team has questions
- Assist with project discovery, requirements gathering, writing user stories, and managing the product backlog collaboratively with the product manager
- Writes acceptance criteria and creates test plans collaboratively with the QA team
- Facilitate user-based testing by guiding users through the testing process and collecting feedback
- Assist with defect triage and prioritization
- Assist the Scrum Master in removing blockers
- Communicate risks, impediments, and changes in scope and their impact on deliverables
- Create and maintain documentation such as user stories, workflow diagrams, test plans, meeting notes, and user guides
- Work with other business analysts to establish best practices and to improve product development operations across individual teams and the organization at large
- Foster an environment that promotes fun, collaboration, open and honest communication, mutual trust, respect, customer centricity, and Lean thinking
- Perform other duties as assigned
What makes you a great fit
- 2 years experience working as a Business Analyst or equivalent
- Experience working on agile software development projects
- Understanding of the vacation rental industry preferred
- Outstanding verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a big-picture vision while defining very detailed requirements
- Customer service oriented
- Experience working on, coordinating, and communicating on cross-team initiatives
- Technical aptitude and a familiarity with software development and integration principle
- Experience using database query language preferred
- Experience interacting with APIs via Postman preferred
- Ability to communicate complex technical problems to a non-technical audience
- Ability to document requirements formally or informally depending on the need of the project
- Experience with Jira preferred

Compensation
For this role our salary range is $67,000 to $77,000, depending on relevant experience
