Duties/Responsibilities
- Review RFP, RFI, RFQ and bid/qualifications for opportunities gathered from multiple sources.
- Own the proposal intake process, including review of proposal requirements, opportunity scoring, and RFP research.
- Organize and lead weekly opportunity review meetings to present potential opportunities to the team.
- Assist in the response to RFIs/RFPs, including research, qualification assessment, and resume review.
- Establish and maintain a robust library of company information and marketing materials that can be leveraged to quickly respond to RFIs, RFPs, Sources Sought and other requests for company core capabilities. This will consist of a resume library, project descriptions, case studies, proposal graphics, and standard proposal language.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical departments, to gather necessary information for proposals.
- Support proposal managers with gathering information in the development and formatting of proposals and responses to RFPs.
- Implement proposal strategies and processes to ensure successful responses to RFPs and other bid opportunities as directed by the Sales Team Lead.
- Setup and maintain SharePoint libraries.
- Identify and evaluate new business leads to determine their potential and alignment with company goals.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze past proposals and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to increase industry knowledge and gain new business contacts.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and SharePoint.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, and dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to consolidate and organize information and documentation from multiple sources.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to deliver quality work that consistently meets requirements and deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- The position requires at 4-6 years of professional experience in proposal analysis, business development, project management, or a related field.
- Understanding of federal procurement processes and regulations, as well as commercial contracting practices.
