Location: St Pete, Tampa (able to come into the office to work closely with the team)
Contract Type: 1099, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time EVONA employee

The Role:
We’re seeking a Contract Recruiter with experience in the 1099 market, preferably within the space and defense industry. This is a 360 role—opening doors, bringing in roles, and filling jobs. You’ll work closely with our team in St Pete, helping scale our contract business by placing top talent into cutting-edge companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development efforts—identify new clients, establish relationships, and bring in contract roles
- Source, qualify, and place 1099 contractors within the space industry
- Build and maintain a network of contract professionals and hiring managers
- Work closely with co-founders and leadership to establish and grow the U.S. contract division
- Meet set KPIs
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Recruitment experience in the U.S. contract market—preferably in space, defense & deep tech
✅ Proven track record in business development and delivery—bringing in roles and filling them
✅ Experience working with 1099 contractors and knowledge of how to navigate that market
✅ Ability to work autonomously while being a key player in a fast-growing team
✅ Strong relationship-building skills with both clients and candidates
