Electrical Engineering Manager
Our client are seeking a senior electrical engineer to manage and direct the Avionics and Electronics team.
Position is on-site in Houghton, Michigan
Responsibilities :
- Direct and manage avionics team
- Direct team members who oversee electronics manufacturing partners
- Support electronics production, including managing non-conforming product resolution
- Provide technical direction to enable the avionics team to efficiently solve technical problems in production and design
- Create engineering resource plans, development plans, and processes to optimize project staffing
- Establish budgets and schedules to help scope and lead projects
- Mentor less experienced engineers to implement robust production systems and drive continuous improvements
- Utilize a continuous improvement mindset and train engineering staff in problem solving techniques to identify root cause and resolve problems in a timely fashion
- Perform other duties as assigned
