Position Purpose:
My client is seeking an experienced quality inspector to ensure their advanced products meet engineering and customer requirements. This role involves inspecting electronic components, assemblies, and finished hardware for compliance. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes and ensuring quality throughout the product lifecycle. Your work will help deliver reliable systems that exceed expectations.
- Key Responsibilities:Inspect mechanical and electronic hardware, including circuit boards, subassemblies, and spaceflight components.
- Verify supplier documentation and perform inspections using precision tools and equipment.
- Detect and document non-conformities, collaborate on resolutions, and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and standards like IPC-610 and J-STD-001.
- Maintain detailed records and participate in audits and process evaluations.
- Requirements:7 years of relevant inspection or quality engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or electronics manufacturing.
- Proficiency with GD&T, inspection of electronic workmanship, and industry standards (e.g., IPC-610, IPC-620).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and ISO9000/AS9100 frameworks.
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow.
