Quality Assurance Inspector
Job description :
Perform mechanical quality inspections on materials to ensure that no non-conforming or rejected product gets introduce to our production lines. Focused on providing the highest quality kiosk products and enclosures to our customers.
Responsibilities :
- Interpret CAD drawings and instructions to ensure materials meet quality and engineering requirements.
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional measurements ; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Performs complete layout inspection by measuring dimensions, such as length, height, and distance using micrometers and calipers to ensure product meets specifications.
- Assist and / or train operators on visual part acceptability and measurement as required.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and facilitate the acceptance of parts.
- Monitor the use of measuring equipment to ensure they are well maintained and in calibration.
- Suggest methods of improving product quality, design or manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for daily control and document items as rejections, root cause failure and issues.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Starting Hourly Rate - $18.00 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
