Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Production Operator. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and measuring processes, packaging, and transferring materials from tank to tank. You will also interact with shipping, QC, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and measure process parameters
- Packaging and material transfer
- Daily samples and interaction with shipping, QC, and maintenance departments
- Work 8-12 hour shifts when required
- Work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays when required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer knowledge
- 2-4 years of manufacturing experience or chemical experience, construction, mechanical, farm/agricultural experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Be in good general health and medically certifiable to wear respiratory protection
- Lift up to 55 lbs. without mechanical assistance
- Physically able to perform job duties
- Good manual dexterity
- Able to perform duties with minimum supervision
- Observe, record, and analyze process information
- Read and interpret instruments, gauges, etc.
- Communicate and understand operating information
