Job Description
- We are looking for a skilled Process Technician to assist in material transfer, production processing, and other chemical operations within the production process in a safe and efficient manner.
- You will be responsible for operating/monitoring equipment such as reactors, filters, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, bag houses, spray dryers, compressors, etc.
- Must understand and comply with site ESHQ procedures, cGMP's and SOPs.
- Perform field quality tests and document in SPC program.
- Perform basic maintenance, changeover, set up, cleaning, and troubleshooting of plant process equipment and process work areas.
- Correctly complete and submit work orders for equipment failures which requires maintenance.
- Transfer of finished goods within the Inventory Management System (SAP).
- Safely and properly operate a forklift.
- A High School education or General Equivalence Diploma required.
- Preferred candidate will have previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Must possess a good attitude and strong work ethic & be dependable with a high degree of integrity.
- Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, work independently, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate between team members and other departments.
- Ability to work in a production environment where heat, cold, dust, and discomfort are common.
