RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support and act as digitalization expert to digitize subject matter for the Production, Lab, EHSSQ and Maintenance self-study programs for entry level through supervisory positions.
- Design and provide digital on-the-job training programs in each area (Production, Lab, Safety EHSSQ, and Maintenance) working with site personnel.
- Audit and monitor on-the-job training programs in Production, Environmental / Safety, and Maintenance to ensure these programs satisfy OSHA's PSM requirements.
- Identify training / employee development gaps with the support of the management team and lead teams to execute a strategic plan to address the gaps.
- Benchmark with other plants / locations to analyze, evaluate, and determine the need for change / improvement.
- Design / revise and implement Computer Based Training (CBT) products for self-study qualifications.
- Coordinate with plant management to review training plans, SOP's and focus on field training for Production, Lab, EHSSQ, or Maintenance working with site personnel.
- Develop relationships with internal / external resources (IT, Corp ESH, KA sites, ...) to support collaboration activities which are required in building a successful training program.
- Advocate for the Site and potentially the Region with improvement ideas and be a power user for the training section in Workday.
