RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives , e-mails, and web technologies and applies knowledge of the assigned business areas in the Order to Cash process, to efficiently and accurately plan and coordinate customer orders, credits and complaints, returns, sample requests and request for product information.
- Plans and coordinates delivery dates with customers based on product availability
- Plans and coordinates shipment with overseas logistics personnel
- Tracks and traces order ship date, customs clearance and delivery in regard to direct to customer deliveries from overseas plants using SAP and Excel tracking sheets
- Coordinates order logistics with external warehouse personnel to meet customer and sales expectations
- Maintains vendor, material and customer master data in support of the requirements
- Responds to customer inquiries
- Provides support to the Marketing and Sales Professionals in an effort to develop business relationships and promote sales
- Audits and monitors consignment inventories
- Key user of inventory controlling transactions in the SAP system
- Collects, creates, maintains and orders all samples
- Collects and distributes documents for audit in support of the controller
- Acts as the key backup to Customer Service and Supply Chain colleagues.
- High level of support and training to the Customer Service Department
REQUIREMENTS
- College Education (4 year business degree) or equivalent experience.
- Logistics Experience with import / export operations and rail and tank movements
- SAP experience, proficient
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to mulit-task
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient note taking skills
- Must have a keen attention to detail
- Clear voice
- Professional Tone
- The ability to prioritize
