Business Development Associate
Position Overview : The Business Development Coordinator at EVS, Inc. will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, Solar Developers and EPC contractors. This position requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who will help develop and maintain systems to streamline business development activities while fostering strong relationships with both current and potential clients.
This role is open for internal promotion / lateral moves or external hiring, depending on the candidate's fit.
Key Responsibilities :
- Opportunity Development :
Identify and engage new opportunities with utilities, municipalities, and cooperatives.
Develop and implement a business development (BD) tracking system to monitor ongoing and future opportunities.
Manage follow-ups with utilities, including completing forms and maintaining contact with administrative teams until technical connections are established.
Work with the marketing team to ensure the Solar / BESS / Substation project tracker, website, and Statements of Qualification (SOQs) remain up-to-date and reflect EVS's capabilities and accomplishments.
Research and identify prospective clients to target for business development initiatives.

Reporting Structure : The Business Development Coordinator will report to the Director of Client Management and Innovation, with close collaboration with the VP of Renewable Energy and the marketing team.
Location & Travel : This role is based in Eden Prairie, MN, with flexibility for hybrid work per company policies. Occasional travel may be required for client meetings or conferences.
