SUMMARY
The Civil Engineer - Entry Level will assist the Project Manager in project planning and design, with a focus on meeting essential deadlines and fostering effective collaboration among project team members and various design disciplines. This individual will be a valuable member of a dynamic team dedicated to a diverse portfolio of projects that encompass planning, design, and engineering services in both solar and utility fields. The Civil Staff Engineer will report directly to the Project Manager.
The position is located in Eden Prairie, MN.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for CAD drafting and plan production using EVS standards
- Complete basic redlines and perform basic aspects of design
- Works to understand EVS' quality program and applies these principles to all project work
- Accountable for checking work as well as other engineers' designs and calculations, to ensure alignment to quality assurance and control requirements
- Actively participates in and contributes to department and project team discussions
