Production (Food) Supervisor, 2nd Shift
Shift : 2nd Shift (4 : 00pm - 2 : 00am), 10% shift premium while on 2nd shift
Pay Range : $70,000 - $85,000 Annually, $2,000 Starting Bonus

We're looking for a highly skilled Production Supervisor thatwill be responsible for managing production employees in a fast-paced, high volume, non-union, manufacturing environment. You will lead a team to identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. Most importantly, you will be responsible for creating an engaged and team-oriented work force. This is an ACTIVE position with 100% of time being on the plant floor (standing, walking, climbing stairs). This is not an office position.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Assist with production goals and communicate the goals to the production staff
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Oversee and coach employees
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Check production output according to specifications
- Make sure that employees are trained / cross-trained and understand and follow work instructions
- Work on continuous improvement and efficiency of each operation
- Enforce safety guidelines and company standards
- The position is very hands-on and supervisors are usually on the plant floor about 100% of the shift
- Ability to directly supervise 40 employees in the manufacturing department
