RATE OF PAY WILL COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE.
Summary: Perform accounting and clerical task related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Review, sort and check invoices for accuracy and approval.
· Prepare G/L coding and process invoices for payment.
· Review statements and reconcile to invoices.
· Prepare and process accounts payable checks.
· Keep accurate and current files on all vendors.
· Resolve invoice discrepancies promptly and accurately.
· Correspond with vendor inquiries promptly and accurately.
· Produce monthly reports as requested by management.
· Calculate and report monthly sales tax reports.
Provide back up for other office duties as needed, including but not limited to, answering telephones; entering and preparing credit applications and contracts; processing co-op advertising paperwork for payment; provide help and assistance to customers with accounting inquiries; and assisting Controller with special projects as deemed necessary.

Education/Experience:
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college OR six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer experience. The employee will be required to learn and use Microsoft Word and Excel; Keystone Industry Software.
