Position Overview

The prime responsibility of the Assistant Center Manager is to assist the Center Manager with the day-to-day operations of the center, including opening and closing, working the front desk, managing productivity, and ensuring the team delivers world-class guest services. As an Assistant Center Manager at EWCG Growth, you will serve as a role model for your team, ensuring that all EWC Growth Partners Core Values are consistently applied in all guest and associate interactions.

Our compensation structure includes an hourly wage $19-$21 per hour complemented by bonuses, to ensure that those who achieve their goals consistently often may surpass this range.

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand, believe in, and represent EWC Growth and European Wax Centers Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Develop a thorough understanding of European Wax Center services and products
  • Master the Guest Service Associate role and lead by example
  • Meet and maintain specific Center and individual KPI’s
  • Administer check-ins and check-outs, process payments, refunds, and reservation requests
  • Promote and implement new products, services, and initiatives
  • Assist with inventory counts as needed
  • Assist with associate management, which includes training, scheduling, and coaching
  • Assist with schedule, timekeeping/payroll and Strut Meetings as needed
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive work environment that increases productivity and reduces turnover
  • Utilize provided training resources to educate your team on retail, improve selling skills and achieving business and personal goals
  • Supervise, motivate, develop, and coach associates in the moment, and as needed
  • Complete weekly deposit and maintain cash balances of register and register change as needed
  • Address guest and associate concerns promptly with a solutions-focused approach
  • Follow all EWCG policies and procedures while providing exceptional guest experience
  • Ensure all areas of the Center, including storage room and desk are neat, clean, organized and operating to company standard
  • Follow all safety standards to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of previous retail sales experience or management experience in a customer service-related field
  • Strong analytical, communication, and people skills
  • Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week with open availability including morning, evening, and weekends.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The associate must frequently lift and/or move items over 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
