This professional and collaborative team are expanding in South Florida and are looking for a Director of New Build Design structures to head up the team due to company growth and project wins.
The Director of Engineering will report to the board based in NYC and will have strong leadership experience as well as great technical ability.
The business already have a Director for the restoration's team who is currently overseeing the entire office meaning the company have leadership support on site. The successful candidate will be in South Florida or will relocate (with financial help) and can be based in the existing Fort Lauderdale office or the business will open a Miami office for them.
- Lead a team of up to 10 employees
- Be the client facing 'face' of the business
- Competent leading meetings internally and externally
- Technical ability, overall sign off on projects and a problem solver
- Goal orientated looking to take on a challenge to help bring overall business profitability up
- Hiring / interviewing of perspective candidates
- Mentoring and training
