Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and contractors to clarify project requirements and schedules
- Utilize various software tools to analyze data and craft accurate estimates
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and attend pre-bid meetings as necessary
- Maintain a repository of past estimate data for reference and comparative analysis
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel throughout the Western Territory as needed
