What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Developer position at EWS?

We are looking for a candidate for the immediate requirement of “Software Developer” position.

Title: Software Developer

Location: Fairfield, NJ or other unanticipated locations in the U.S

Requirements

Modify existing software to correct errors and to improve performance of applications.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design. Implement the requirements to the project
Work on front-end application development using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JQuery and Javascript
Perform database operations and write server side language in RPG in IBM mainframe AS400.
Use Green screen and RDI tool for browsing and updating RPG programs
Work with REST API’s calls using POSTMAN and JSON for analyzing data exchange between client and server
Troubleshoot applications using Google Chrome and Internet Explorer developer tools by inspecting the web application and traverse through the nodes of the tree using DOM functions
Check cross browser compatibility for different browsers
Attend weekly scrum meetings
Create technical documentation
Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of Engineering with 1 year experience
Skills in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular/React, SQL, PHP/Node JS, Javascript, RPG, and JSON
