Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ABA Billing Manager to oversee and manage the billing operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare billing, specifically within ABA therapy and substance abuse programs, and will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our billing and revenue cycle processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the billing department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims, payments, and reimbursements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain efficient billing and collection processes to optimize revenue cycle performance.
• Supervise and train billing staff, providing support and guidance to ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Review and audit billing practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with payer policies and ABA service requirements.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to billing presenting findings to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry changes, including payer requirements, CPT codes, and relevant regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding of services.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for billing inquiries from internal staff, clients, and insurance companies.
  
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role within ABA therapy billing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CPT codes, insurance verification, authorization processes, and payer guidelines specific to ABA services.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
• Proficient in billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems; experience with CollabMD is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex billing and collection issues effectively.
