Lauderdale Lakes, FL
About ABA Centers Of America
ABA Centers of America is a healthcare innovator experiencing steady growth while revolutionizing the autism care field. We provide ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and diagnostic services to our clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. Our teams also support a small group of affiliated addiction treatment centers and related companies.
Listed by Inc. magazine as the 5th fastest-growing private company in the U.S., we are focused on opening new clinics and remaining self-funded without private equity investment. We’re also named in Inc.’s Best in Business list for “Health Services,” honoring companies that have made an extraordinary impact in their fields and on society.
We are currently in 10 states with over 30 clinical service areas, and our roadmap will bring us to more than 50 clinical service areas over the next 12-24 months. We have the resources and talent usually found at a more mature organization, including fully staffed teams to support marketing, IT, accounting, and clinic growth.
Growth Opportunity
If you're an experienced paralegal or legal assistant looking for a challenge outside the typical law firm environment, join our company's growing Legal Department and broaden your skills! This is an exciting time to be a part of our company as we grow to become the nation’s leading commercial autism care provider!
Reporting to the Director of SCA (single-case agreements), the Paralegal Patient Advocate will use legal knowledge and experience to expedite the intake and admission process for SCAs. The primary focus of the role is to handle payor processes and be an advocate for children with autism by helping them and their families gain access to the life-changing care so desperately needed. In addition to directly working with caregivers (most often parents), care managers, and payor representatives via phone, text, and email, you will also be reviewing and preparing documents relating to obtaining reimbursement for care and treatment.
