Industrial Maintenance Technician (Large CNC Machines)

Exact Machine Service, Inc., is a full-service machine tool distributor located in York, PA. Exact Machine Service, Inc. serves the manufacturing community by providing new and used machine tool sales, machine tool service, repair, parts, inspections and laser calibration.

Exact Machine Service, Inc. is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to provide exceptional service to our VIP customers. This role is setup to be at 1 location in York, PA. The Technician will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in trouble shooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics on machine tools. Must be able to effectively detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components. This position reports directly to the Service Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to:

The technician will need to be competent on the Siemens 840D CNC (computer numerical control).

The shift is an overnight shift (10P to 6A), tech is is responsible if for some reason the large gantry machine goes down.

Experience with Ingersoll and Fives CNC Machines preferred.

Ensuring proper documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer in regards to status of machine issues, repairs, and installation

Able to climb ladders and to lift 50 lbs. unassisted

- Able to safely operate a lift truck and lifting equipment or the rigging of machine tools.
